Promoting Science Education for more than 25 years, the Metropolitan Association for Teachers of Science (MATS) is a K-12 professional development organization serving science teachers in school districts throughout the Houston area.

Our members include active and retired teachers and other professional school personnel as well as representatives from Houston area universities, businesses and informal science education organizations.
